By accessing or using the MowHQ platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
MowHQ is a software-as-a-service platform designed for lawn care and snow removal businesses. The Service includes job scheduling, customer management, invoicing, quoting, route optimization, a customer portal, and integrations with third-party services such as Stripe and QuickBooks. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial.
Subscription: After the trial period, continued access requires an active paid subscription at $49 per month. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and automatically renew unless cancelled.
Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
MowHQ enables business owners to accept payments from their customers through Stripe Connect. By connecting your Stripe account, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Privacy Policy. MowHQ is not responsible for Stripe's processing of payments, disputes, or chargebacks. MowHQ may charge an application fee on transactions processed through your connected Stripe account.
Ownership:You retain all ownership rights to the data you enter into the Service, including customer information, job records, invoices, and uploaded files ("Your Data").
License: You grant MowHQ a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, and store Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
Export: You may export Your Data at any time. Upon account cancellation, you will have 30 days to export Your Data before it is deleted.
Business owners may invite their customers to use the MowHQ customer portal. Business owners are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their customers before entering their information into the Service. Business owners are the data controllers for their customer data; MowHQ acts as a data processor on their behalf.

The Service, including its design, code, features, logos, and content (excluding Your Data), is owned by MowHQ and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOWHQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MowHQ, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting support. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Columbus, Ohio, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
